MANO
A tittoker girl named Mano, whose real name is Ayesha, went viral on the internet when she grooved some dance moves on a song ‘Mera Dil Ye Pukare Aaja’ at her friend’s wedding. She became an internet sensation over a period of a few minutes. In a morning show, she introduced herself as an influencer, and claimed to have earned 7 figures in just 3 days after the video went viral.
Momin Saqib
Momin Saqib, the man behind the famous monologue “O BHAE MARO MUJHE MARO” became an internet sensation when Pakistan lost from India in 2019’s T20 world cup. Momin is a graduate from King’s College, London and was the president of the student union in his college. He is currently working in Pakistan Drama Industry. The influencer/actor has gained an immense amount of popularity ever since his video went viral, and makes his appearance whenever the cricket World Cup happens.
Mr Bean
The Pakistani Mr Bean is portrayed by actor Muhammad Asif who is originally from Karachi. He became famous after somebody’s photographs of him went viral that showed how strong of a resemblance Asif had with the original Mr Bean played by Rowan Atkinson. He was then chosen for major campaigns and was even invited to Zimbabwe where he got royal treatment. However, later they were upset when they found out he wasn’t the ‘real one’.
Akhtar Lawa
Businessman and Politician Akhtar Lawa recently took over Pakistani social media. He went viral doing his catchphrase on tiktok videos ‘Lahore Da Lava Akhtar Lawa’, which basically mean ‘The Pillar of Lahore is Akhtar Lawa’. Many actors have been following this tiktok trend ever since this video became viral. Akhtar Lawa became a trending topic on Twitter in a matter of hours with hashtag #LahoreDaPawa. The internet is full of his memes.
Chai Wala
Arshad Khan was spotted and photographed by a professional photographer Jiah Ali back in late 1026. Making tea clad in blue kurta with piercing blue eyes, Arshad’s photo broke the internet. he became an internet sensation overnight and was offered many fashion shoots and shows. In 2020, he launched his own chai cafe in Islamabad, namely Chai Wala. Now, he also owns three other chai cafes, two in Lahore and one in Murree.
Dananeer
The ‘pawri ho rahi hai’ girl went viral on social media after she posted her video on instagram along her friends where she says, “yeh hum hain, yeh humarai car hai, aur yeh humari pawri ho rahi hai.” She also caught the attention of an indian Dj who made a song after her famous lines and A-list bollywood celebrities also posted videos saying the famous ‘pawri’ quote. Dananeer scored several major ads, hosted shows and starred in Sinf-e-Ahan. She now has a big drama coming out where she is playing the lead.
Sarim Akhtar
Sarim Akhtar aka angry Pakistani fan went viral when his epic reaction from a Pakistan vs Australia World cup surgaced. He became the source of countless hilarious memes and jokes worlwide. In the year 2021, he decided to cash his fame in the digitals realms by introducing a non-fungible token (NFT) project called DFans, or disappointed fans. Sarim Akhtar is also featured in the Hong Kong Memes Museum, the world’s first meme museum.
Shae Gill
Anushae Gill professionally known as Shae Gill became an overnight sensation with the release of her debut song ‘Pasoori’ alongside Ali Sethi. Shae is said to be a student of Forman Christian College, Lahore. She not only gained fame in Pakistan, but internationally as well. She has been praised by top artists adn we cant wait to see more of her projects in the near future.
Ahmed Shah
Ahmed Shah, a cute kid from Dera Ismail Khan. He gained fame through the famous monologue “piche dekho piche” video, which was posted by his uncle. A lot of big lollywood and bollywood celebrities performed lip sync on his video. With increasing popularity and his adorable looks he was also invited to many Pakistani television shows and was given major ad campaigns.
