Sweet tooth just opened their restaurant overlooking Attabad lake and we are in love!

I’m sure you guys are pretty well aware about sweet tooth, who are best known for their mouth watering shakes and desserts. The Sweet Tooth started out as a small ice cream and dessert parlor in Lahore only a couple of years ago, owned by Umer Hussain. He has managed to open Sweet tooth in multiple locations across Pakistan. With a particular popular branch opened in Heera mandi. This time after researching several new locations, he has landed upon Attabad lake to be the next Location for his restaurant Sweet tooth

Umer Hussain opened the restaurant on 29th July near the glimmering lake of Attabad, and let me tell you, this almost makes you want to pack your bags and go on a vocation. He made the announcement in the popular group “Foodies-R-Us” on Facebook.

Just when you thought that it couldn’t get any better than this: Sweet Tooth Attabad Lake is Pakistan’s first eco-friendly restaurant. Hussain has also employed disabled and transgender individuals at his restaurants, then gone on to make an outlet surrounded by beautiful mountains in Mushkpuri and one funky, desi fusion theme outlet in Lahore’s infamous Heera Mandi. So, it makes sense for someone like Hussain who has been doing his part to work with marginalized communities to now also try and do his part to challenge climate change by building an Eco-friendly restaurant.

The Sweet Tooth parlor is a 100% solar powered
The lamps and Bulbs in the above picture will be completely powered by the suns energy. While this is an area that may not have access to regular electricity supply, using the sun as a renewable energy source also cuts down costs by a mile. It also eliminates the need for generators, which normally use fuel and pollute the air. Take notes, other restauranteurs!

Hussain also plans to boycott plastics and opt for oxy-biodegradable plastics
He said in a post on Facebook,

“We’ll be boycotting use of plastics as much as we can, till we completely get rid of it. Oxy-biodegradable plastics would be used in packaging. We are initiating organic waste management, manure making using our own waste, furthermore planting trees, for every tree that suffered, fertilizing using our own manure.”

The world needs GOOD people like him.

I’m just going to leave this picture here for you to drool over. Make sure next time you’re in Hunza, check out their restaurant.
