I watched the trailer for parwaz hai junoon for the very first time and I have to admit I felt myself going through a range of emotions not because the trailer was pretty amazing but because there’s a ton of moments where you’re like ‘ye kya hai’ but whatever the case may be, one should obviously watch this movie when it releases on Eid ul Azha because I have to admit it’s better than some of the recently released films.
‘Parwaaz Hai Junoon’ is a film that is intended to be a tribute to the Pakistan Air Force. Parwaz Hai Junoon will be the first Pakistani movie in 50 years that will pay homage to the gallant heroes of Pakistan Air force. The movie is a blend of hilarity, romance, passion and all things in seriousness.
But I do have one question while looking at the trailer, there’s one scene in the trailer where hania mir is sitting beside ahad raza mir shoulder to shoulder, I didn’t know things were this cool in the Pakistan air force? Maybe we should ask a real Pilot if that happens in reality. Lastly like any Pakistani movie, there has to be a song where the actors are dancing at a wedding, and that’s fine and all until you hear the lyrics of the song “ajj kangna bhe nachay, jhumka bhe nachay” translating as “today my bangles are dancing, earrings are dancing” do you realise how funny that sounds?
Besides the odd funny moments, I think anyone who watches the movie will have a good time mainly because of the fresh new faces of the cast: hania mir, ahad raza mir, hamza ali abbasi, kubra khan, shaz khan. And if you’re following any of the actors on instagram you’d know that they had a blast while shooting for this movie.
