Meera Jee recently shocked a lot of people by announcing that she’s leaving Pakistan for good. She tweeted, “It gives me a lot of grief to tell my fans that I’ve decided to permanently move from Pakistan to either Canada or US. I’ve set up my home there and I need your prayers.”
She confirmed the news to a magazine saying that she will reveal the reason for this change later.
“I am moving to Los Angeles permanently. Between Canada and America, I had an option to pick either. But I decided to move to LA,” she stated. Moreover, she disclosed that she has the green cards of both America and Canada.
She also emphasized on the fact that she is only leaving Pakistan and not the world so fans shouldn’t be disappointed. “I will promote Pakistan Internationally like Priyanka Chopra.”
Well, we can only hope…or not hope for it to be a publicity stunt. Miss Meera Jee has a knack of…well we will let you guess.
