Shiza Hassan showcased her collection, ‘Untamed Azalea’ at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week’s Luxury Prêt segment. Inspired by the visuals of richest flora and fauna nature has to offer, the collection featured straight/boxy cuts in silks/organza and nets. The embellishments included beaded work along with resham and 3D elements with a colour palette based on pastels. For Hassan, the trends to look out for A-symmetrical hems and boxy silhouettes this 2018.
We feel the collection and especially the palette has been done far too many times. However, if one doesn’t have a problem with repeating pastels, the pieces are safe and enchanting.
