The Hum Films and M&D Films most awaited Parwaaz Hai Junoon written by none other than Farhat Ishtiaq, is in full swing of making, and it is expected to be a huge hit considering its gigantic production scale. The Kluchit magazine got an exclusive chance to meet the ensemble team of Parwaaz Hai Junoon, during their production spell in Lahore.
Sharing his thoughts, the director of the film Haseeb Hasan said that Parwaaz Hai Junoon is a Junoon to me. He said, “As a director, it is an awesome feeling when you are taking shots of Hamza Ali Abbasi and Shaz Khan, while they are running towards their fighter jets.” He further said, “This movie is really special to me because we have shot in some extreme weather conditions as well as locations.” Mentioning an example of it, he said, “In Naltar Valley near Gilgit, we had to shoot a very important sequence of Parwaaz Hai Junoon, and it was winter with ground temperature around -21 Celsius. We had a total team of 150 members working for that sequence, and the way everyone pulled off themselves for Parwaaz Hai Junoon in these severe weather conditions, is something that is very close to my heart.”
The producer of this film Momina Duraid shared a great news about Parwaaz Hai Junoon that 25% earnings of this film will be given to Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Shuhada Fund. Expressing her feelings about this film, she said, “People working in Pakistan Air Force are doing a phenomenal job to ensure solid aerial defence of our nation. This movie is a platform to celebrate our air warriors, and excite our youth so that they can fall in love with the force and join it with a passion.” From production point of view, she said, “A massive focus is given to how cinematographically this movie should look like, and I must say that the whole production team in this regard has done a fabulous job.”
Hamza Ali Abbasi, who is one of the lead cast members of Parwaaz Hai Junoon made some interesting comments about this project. He said, “I am playing role of a young fighter pilot, and during filmmaking process, I was honored to experience how Pakistan Air Force are indigenously working together for success of this institution, despite having limited resources.” It has been very long that no proper movie on Pakistan Air Force is made, on which he said, “This is need of the hour that a full-scale movie on Pakistan Air Force discussing their achievements should be made, and I must congratulate Hum Films and M&D Films for initiating this remarkable project.”
Shaz Khan is playing an imperative role in Parwaaz Hai Junoon about which he is really excited. He said, “The feeling is awesome when you are shown being a part of Pakistan Air Force, piloting a jet and fighting for your country.” Shaz Khan was very positive regarding the fact that Parwaaz Hai Junoon is going to ignite the feeling of patriotism among the youth. “As a young person, I believe it is extremely important that they should be told the wonderful triumphs our armed forces have achieved to safeguard their country, and movies like this are a great initiative in this view.”
The beautiful and gorgeous Kubra Khan is playing role of a fighter pilot’s wife. On this she said, “It is basically a supportive act that shows how fighter pilots live with their families, and what it is all about.” About shooting, she said that while making of this movie, I was blessed to visit some beautiful places of Pakistan. “Pakistan is so beautiful that I am literally speechless. I was part of the shooting spell in Naltar Valley, and wow! what a breathtaking place it is. This is where I proudly feel that Parwaaz Hai Junoon is very special, as it is bringing into limelight some stunning places of Pakistan.”
The startling new sensation Hania Amir is also very thrilled about her role in Parwaaz Hai Junoon. She said, “My role defines the journey of how I become part of Pakistan Air Force, which in itself surely will be treat to watch.” Hania Amir further said that she is very lucky to have worked with some great people of Pakistan entertainment industry during making of this movie. She said, “The support and love that I received during Parwaaz Hai Junoon’s making is commendable, and because of it, I really enjoyed and felt very comfortable while performing my scenes.”
The most exhilarating part of this film that most of our people are unaware off is that Azaan Sami Khan the son of two entertainment legends Adnan Sami Khan and Zeba Bakhtiar, is making debut in this film with his brilliant music composition, and apart from one song which is composed by Shuja Haider all songs are composed by Azaan Sami Khan himself. What has been heard so far is that the songs of Parwaaz Hai Junoon are musically very soulful.
