Balayage:
The balayage has been around for a few years now, but unfortunately most salons in Pakistan have been too slow to catch on. A few salons in Karachi like Meryam Asghar and Hina Y do amazing balayages in all sorts of colours. In Lahore, Natasha J salon does an amazing job, so does Toni and Guy but they’re RIDICULOUSLY expensive. Since most of us have a deeper skin tone, it’s best to go with colours that have a warm undertone. If you’re feeling particularly daring, skip the caramel balayage and go for a platinum blonde one.
Pastel hair:
Pastel hair continues to be a major hair trend because of its subtlety. You don’t have to commit to a bold colour like electric blue or neon green, but you can still go for a subtle pastel colour in the same hue that won’t look as daunting. Go for peach or rose gold pastel do for the perfect summer hair. The only salon I’ve seen that does pastel hair is Meryam Asghar, and it looked AMAZING.
Toffee hair:
Toffee hair actually looks amazing against deeper skin tones because it’s a warm colour reminiscent of actual Toffee. Whether you go for a Toffee balayage, or Toffee highlights, it’s going to look effortlessly amazing. Plus, with it being summer and all, the warm Toffee colour will go hand in hand with warm toned makeup.
Here’s the trendiest dye jobs you should definitely get for 2017. Solid blocks of colour are becoming too predictable, so spice things up with a new do.
