The girl from Khas Dir (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Samar Khan is again set to create history. Recently, as in mid May 2017, she began her journey to summit the Barganchu Peak, that lies in vicinity of the beautiful Skardu town, Gilgit Baltisitan, which is doorway to some of the majestic peaks and mighty glaciers of the world. The Barganchu Peak is 6250meters high, and as per sources, this peak is never tried before for a summit. If Samar Khan is successfully able to complete this journey, she would become the first person to climb this mountain. Accompanying her, Zain Abbas Butt and Syed Ahmad Ali are the other two persons giving her the media coverage, and in process would also achieve this great feat.
Samar Khan as we all know has incredible achievements to his credit. The Pakistani cyclist became the first woman in the world to ride cycle on 4,500 meter high Biafo Glacier in the Karakoram Mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan. She also holds the national record of reaching Khunjerab Pass (Pak-China border) from Islamabad on cycle, as she rode over 4693 meters in -5 °C. Besides this, Samar is a trained MMA fighter, and is also member of the national youth assembly. A notable thing about Samar is that she is Masters in Physics from the Federal Urdu University in Islamabad, and a certified para-glider as well.
The Travel Team of Kluchit wishes her best of luck for this memorable and historic journey.
