Bizarre fashion trends of 2016 we need to say goodbye to in 2017!

2016 made us witness some of the most absurd and bizarre fashion trends till date. We really hope to not get haunted by those silly fashion trends anywhere in the future and beg the designers and trend setters to keep it low! Here are some of the fashion trends followed internationally that should NOT make a comeback again. Ever. Never ever ever.

Tulip Pants

There is something about this Shalwar that makes one have a love-hate relationship with it. Either one is crazy about it or they just loathe it. 2016 bought a lot of Tulip Pants, or in simple words, Dhoti Shalwars in sight but the memory of them is enough to last for a lifetime. Discard these Shalwars ladies, nobody wants to see them in the future!

Off Shoulder/Cold Shoulder Tops

Sometimes, fusion of the two worlds does not quite seem right. Lets give back the off shoulder trend to the west and not adorn anymore off shoulder kameez’s!

P.S. imagine the suntan in the cold shoulder tops in the Pakistani summers!

Septum Piercing

Hardly anyone can pull this piercing off so yeah, don’t follow the trend blindly.

Dressed in emotions

Let emojis be a part of communication only. Obviously, it makes communication clearer and fun, but designers must understand that emoji’s fit best inside a phone only.

Glitter Beards

Gentlemen…just…no.

Chokers

History tends to repeat itself—and the saying definitely holds true in the fashion world. Choker is a 90’s trend that made a good comeback. As far as trends go, 2016 was arguably the year of the choker, both on and off the runway. They graced the necks of off-duty models and everyday ‘cool’ girls alike. But hey, let’s bid farewell to them!

So how many of these fashion trends are you guilty of following?
