Don’t buffed up men feel conscious in button down about to rip shirts?
Brawn over Fashion sense?
We have all seen it; a sight so disturbing that we curse ourselves for having to witness it. Buffed up guys wearing button down shirts that are centimeters away from literally ripping apart make us all just ask ourselves just one question: Why? Why do they do this to themselves, and to us? Why wear button down shirts that make you look like a balloon that will explode any second? Just, WHY?
Well, although, we might still not have the exact answer to that question, however, we might have a distinct idea as to why these men to this to themselves, and to us. First, it is quite clear that they are proud of their muscle and will wear absolutely anything that will expose it as much as possible. Upon asking a muscular friend of mine who wears such shirts on a daily basis, I received the answer, “It accentuates my shape. I want people to notice the body that I have worked hard on, and I obviously can’t walk around shirtless” So basically, guys like these are following the ‘if you have it, flaunt it’ principle. What needs to be realized here is that such shirts don’t accentuate your shape and in no way flaunt it. They make it more prominent, yes, but in a bad way because from a girl’s point of view, all we notice is how you are bursting out of your clothes. A good body is appreciated best if you wear clothes that fit you perfectly. The best clothes create an outline of your body; they are supposed to hug your body, but not the kind of hug that your aunty gives you on your birthday. You need to be able to breathe.
The second probable reason why guys wear such shirts is that they have no fashion sense whatsoever and will wear anything that they can get their hands on without thinking twice. For guys like that, there is still hope. The first step is to be aware of your body shape and pick out clothes accordingly. For the amount of time and dedication you put into your training and diet you should show it off by wearing well-fitting and flattering clothes. Be willing to try new things, experiment with new looks, and don’t be afraid to ask for real advice on how you’re looking. How you dress communicates to your environment how you feel and believe about yourself.
