Looks like Monal is under fire again for its poor customer service (uh-oh). Apparently, they have been taken to court by a customer, Hina Noman who claimed she was harassed, mentally tortured and misbehaved with after she protested against delay in her order at Monal Islamabad.
She said she received her order after an hour and even then it was incorrect, as a result of which she demanded 3 million rupees from the famous eatery. According to Noman, she was there with her family and guests earlier this year when the incident occurred causing her much embarrassment.
However, Jamshed Ali Khan, the restaurant’s counsel denied Noman’s allegations stating she wouldn’t have paid the bill had she not gotten what she ordered. In response to this, Noman defended herself by saying that she only paid she bill because she wanted to show the receipt in court for proof. Furthermore, she also claimed that she had sent a legal notice to the manager of Monal but it had been sent on a ‘wrong address’ after Khan criticized her for not sending one.

Some people feel that Noman is making a big issue out of something that can be resolved easily but Monal really does need to train its staff to be more polite with its customers as lot of people complain about their lack of customer service.
