At the PLBW16, The fourth designer showcased men’s wear which was by Republic. This time around Republic did not offer that smart feel to their men’s wear like they always do or probably they thought too much about it and failed. Republic has been a brand that has always offers smart and drooling feel for us women to look at.
Republic kept their collection basic in terms of colour since why not everyone was being that boring, how could republic miss out on that. Republic played around with materials such as velvet and jamawar to be on point but then the embellishments too away and gave the low feel that the Pakistani men will be hardly be able to pull that off. By Pakistani men I refer to the masses who are trend followers.
Sadly, my anticipation was much more for this one collection for men’s wear at PLBW16 where beauty meets fashion. I expected a drooling effect the one we had one Fawad khan started wearing those suits by republic oh that was something. Better luck next time republic.
