As exciting as the ramp walks get so does the second day of PLBW’16 along with the uplift by Lotus Pr where beauty meets fashion. The second day by PFDC with much anticipated and needy eyes for a good collection was initiated by Mahgul. The collection surrounded the captivating traditional bridal aspect of Pakistani bridal wear.
At the PFDC Loreal Paris Bridal Week the perfect well selected soothing tracks the ramp walk begin with hues of pastel that contained greys, beige, whites and pinks. Since the designer herself did not work on a new trend she preferred staying with shoulder cut styles, flapper pants, crop length tops along with silver heavy borders of embellishments. The dresses for the opening ramp walk were shiny and in pleasant colour. The designer did justice to her styles and embellishments as nothing was overdone. The waist silver stone bracelet and dazzling headgears went along with the collection. To top it off sufi music gave the traditional theme the best feel and kept the audience intrigued till the end.
Mahgul did set a standard for the rest of the designers on day two with a successful start to the show.
