The thought of leaving everything behind to travel as a living has crossed our mind at least once in our lifetime but the truth is that not all of us have the courage to perform such a task. There have been people who’ve failed at it miserably and have reverted back to their old lifestyle with an unfulfilled dream but then there have also been people who to this very day have not looked back once and love their life. Assuming that you have the passion to do the same, cash from hard work stocked right up, then these are the things that you’d have to bid farewell to:
Your Routine
If you’re taken up travelling then the first thing that will without any doubt ever be the same is your daily routine. Cereal at 8, office at 10, will never be the same but then again, some people are keen to get rid of a fixed routine anyways.
Your Keepsakes
You have a house now and of course when you travel, you’ll be having lots of houses which means that you’ll not be having a favorite couch, a favorite vase or your beloved iPhone switch pad under the kitchen table. Things might be topsy turvy for a while as the sense of having house hold belongings will be gone.
Your Loved Ones
Now unless your parents or siblings will be travelling with you, you’ll be meeting them after a long time rather than every other year or during the holiday season and of course unless you have a wife who loves to explore as much as you do, you’ll have a difficult time finding one!
Your Degree
What have you majored in? Business? Computer Sciences or even Medicine? Well, all that late night study to get recognition won’t be of much use now as you won’t be having a job!
We know how hard saying goodbye to the most important things in this constant life may be, but we’re awfully sure that the life ahead is just as promising!
