We all know that suede bags and shoes are made from a special kind of a leather – a soft, raised, textured kind of a surface but what most of us do not know is the fact that they need proper maintenance, more than ordinary leather. Here are three ways to clean suede easily.
1. Using suede brushes:
- Let the dirt dry on suede shoe/bag
- Remove larger chunks of mud/dirt with your hands
- Lastly remove the remaining mud with your suede brush in one consistent direction.
2. Suede cleaning block:
- It works as an eraser
- Rub it on the dirt spot
- Remove the larger chunks with hand or blow them away, and use the brush afterwards.
3. White Vinegar:
- Small amounts of white vinegar work wonders for bags and shoes
- Dip a cotton bud in vinegar and dab it on the bag or shoe
- Let it dry for a while
- A well cleaned bag/shoe is prominently visible
