As usual, floral prints with arabesque and paisley designs are the terms defining Jahanara Lawn Collection 2k16. So not impressive!! A big #NAY from us, as the floral designs are way too mainstream now! *tsk tsk*
Dear designers, spring is over and so are the flowery and leafy patterns. “Please” work on something different yet innovative. Try thinking outside the box, and exclude the paisley patterns.
The color palette of Jahanara Lawn consist of pale and turmeric yellows, mints, aqua blues, cobalt blues and crepe pinks. The Indonesian decorative technique “Ikat” is also used, which is the ‘only’ different thing about this year’s collection.
The designs and patterns are so rushy and messed up that it’s difficult to even identify the exact motifs and patterns of the dress.
