SINGING is considered to be an easy money making profession in Pakistan. But the fact of the matter is that it is hard to keep a good balance between songs and your vocals. Arslan Asif, an emerging talent is a vocalist, a producer and a song writer. He has been performing underground as a lead vocalist in Islamabad. This young talent built his recognition from his soothing voice and dynamic songs. His songs are imaginative, intense and make one think about the social issues and the on-going scenarios in our society. Very few young talents have the capacity to sing soulful songs in the beginning of their career.
“Chaar din ki Chaandni, Phir Andheri Raat” is the kind of a song which has been a long time coming as the social issues prevalent in our society need to be addressed in any and every way possible. The overall guitar rift was soothing to the ears and it brought that low head feeling of things happening around. We believe such lyrics accompanied with strong music should definitely be appreciated. Being an alternate rock fan myself, it was a surprise to find a talented singer like Arsalan Asif making his mark in the Pakistani music scene.
