Starting with the first launch of the year, Al Karam presented their Spring Lawn Collection Vol.1 with the much talked about TVC, featuring Saira Shahroz. Al Karam definitely out-did themselves this year, with the absolutely mesmerizing detailed embroidered kameez and the gorgeous printed dupatta. With a perfect blending palette, their collection is very easy and soft on the eyes.
However, if you are looking for bold colors with strong designs to rock this spring, then Nishat’s collection is your place to shop. The warm hues with trendy eye-catching patterns, will make sure you look absolutely flawless this spring.
Coming to Sapphire’s lawn collection, we have only one word for it: AMAZING. Their prints, the lawn kurta range, the silk tunics, everything is mesmerizing and all set to make you look super-glamorous this season. And when we discuss lawn and kurtas, how can one forget Khaadi. Embroidered kurtas with patch work designed dupattas, bold colors, and all this is available in very affordable prices. This is all what Khaadi’s collection is offering you.
With all these major exciting launches, some collections have been rather disappointing. Gul Ahmed, with their Vol.2 failed to impress most people. Subtle colors, repetition of patterns just did not “click” this time and the overly priced suits have seriously turned people off. Firdous Lawn held a rather quiet launch, and did not manage to get the attention it usually gets.
Certainly, these are not the only Lawn Collections we are going to see this year. Many more big names have yet to unveil their collections and it is just the start of The Lawn Fever.
