Nomi Ansari: We can always count on Nomi Ansari to showcase a refreshing and vibrant collection to brighten up the room and that is exactly what he did last night, yet again. As usual, he made people fall in love with his “Oh so cool” collection. “OUDH”, his collection, featured all the colors in the whole wide world, just like an artist’s palette. We saw lehngas paired with a blouse heavily embellished with gota and dabka along with embroideries while in the menswear section, waist coats, sherwanis and jackets were also seen. Also, the floral print that we thought was going out of fashion was brought back too. Mehwish Hayat and Humayun Saeed walked the ramp beautifully as the showstoppers. The collection was an utter delight to the eyes.
Shamaeel Ansari: Shamaeel Ansari opened the show and her collection took us back to the 15th century last night since the collection embraced the beauty of the Mughal Empire, the magnificence of Russia and the texture found in lavish French carpets. We loved how she gave such an antique and regal touch to her outfits. We saw some heavily worked bodices and borders based on velvet lehngas. The collection comprised of shades of brown, white, black and red. The entire collection was very enchanting and the audience really liked it.
Saira Shakira: The name of the collection – Seeking Paradise – is probably enough to tell us about the collection which was inspired by the Russian Pavlovski posed shawls. This duet played with so many colors, and the collection featured gowns, lehngas, culottes and knee length shirts, all of which were heavily embellished with dabka work and floral embroideries. The green floral printed dupatta, which was modeled by Hira Tareen, was one of our favorites from Day 3. Sadaf Kanwal elegantly show-stopped for Saira Shakira.
Asifa & Nabeel: After the successful showcase of their collection at Shaan-e-Pakistan, Asifa & Nabeel came up with a very unique and beautiful collection last night comprising of lehngas, pants, gowns and jackets. We saw shades of pink and red along with white and black. Some of the outfits were kept extremely simple while some were heavily embellished. This was the time of the night when we realized that floral designs are really back into the fashion scene.
Ammara Khan: It has been only a year since the designer showcased her debut collection at PLBW’14, and once again this designer did not fail to impress us with her creativity. The collection “Memories from a Moonlight Garden” was all about luxury and classic glamour. Dull colors were seen but the heavy embellishments, the stunning details and the precise cutwork all made the collection stand out. She made it look beautiful yet elegant. The Kluchit Team simply loved it.
HSY: Words cannot describe how much we loved Sheru’s collection last night. He indeed knows how to put a perfect end to an evening. He was that perfect full stop last night. HSY closed the show with his breathtakingly amazing collection inspired by Heaven. The collection consisted of extremely detailed embellishments. We saw pastel colored gowns, pants and jackets in the womenswear section while the menswear section comprised of sherwanis and jackets. We are still in awe of how beautiful the collection was.
