Team Swaarangi – Meet n’ Greet event at Books n’ Beans

Team Swaarangi met bloggers, digital media professionals and Pakistani cinema fans at Book N’ Beans Lahore. The event was held on the 8^th of September, 2015.

The session was organized by ContentCreatorZ and DJ Shahpara conducted the discussion. Film star Resham attended the event along with the director Fida Hussain and actors Waseem Manzoor and Naveed Akbar.

Swaarangi is an upcoming Pakistani film which marks Resham’s return to the silver screen. The film has been in the news recently as it is the first film which was banned completely by the central censor board. As of now, the film has received censor certificates to be released all over Punjab and Sindh.

Swaarangi is an issue based film. It deals with the social issue of drug addiction. It is a parallel cinema product. We should all watch it in order to support Pakistani cinema and to spread awareness about substance abuse.
