TFPW’15 was held in Karachi this year bringing about another fantastic experience for designers as well as the audience to enjoy and to reminisce over the glam-filled nights for the entire year ahead. While TFPW’15 was held in the city of lights (Karachi) where the night-life is known to be mind-blowing in addition to the innumerable pretty social-butterflies and the party-animals, PSFW’15 was held in Lahore which is again considered to be the heart of Pakistan itself where people are equally participative and socializing with many celebrities and big-time designers residing and operating here.
These mega events of the year 2015 were definitely the talk of the year as PSFW’15 was hosted by Natasha Hussain (Natty), while the red carpet for TPFW’15 was hosted by Anoushey Ashraf.
While many of the big names of the fashion industry participated there were a few who took part in both the events such as HSY, Gul Ahmed, Warda Saleem, Nida Azwer, Zara Shahjahan, Sania Masaktiya, Amir Adnan and Fahad Hussayn.
What we got to see in Karachi and Lahore is that surprisingly, the clothing trends in both the cities are almost similar and it’s probably because of the summer season rushing in fast. While the heat is on its peak and we’re all done with our summer shopping for the month *winks*, here’s what you unfortunately missed at TFPW’15 and PSFW’15:
Long-Length Printed Skirts
Jumpsuits and Rompers.
Crop Tops.
Florals.
Some of the collections which marked the point of difference in the entire show were those by Misha Lakhani and the Modern Mughal Collection at PSFW’15:
Also, Asrar Yaqoob’s Debut Collection at PSFW’15, titled Camel Art, touched everyone with the uniqueness it portrayed.
As far as uniqueness is concerned, Sadaf Malaterre’s Collection surely blew away the crowd as it was totally distinctive and matchless:
As summer is just around the corner, a glimpse of spring was interestingly witnessed in all the collections presented at TFPW’15 and PSFW’15.
Karachi and Lahore may have been different cities and may be situated miles apart but the fashion trends remain the same as far as fashion followers are concerned. Don’t we all just love those crop tops and cigarette pants along with flowing spring skirts and summer floral prints being noticed as the need of the hour.
Stay tuned to Kluchit.com for more upcoming trends….
