She was rich before she was born. She was famous before she could even drive. She was an exclusive fashion model before she turned 18 and now, Kendall Jenner is one of most photographed and the most followed people in the world!
What more could a girl want at such a young age when she has everything that every girl of her age dreams of. From modeling to television, from being a style icon to being related to the Kardashians, Jenner has it all!
This diva first got public attention when she appeared on the reality television show “Keeping up with the Kardashians” (which we still can’t get enough of!). She has walked for Chanel, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Balmain and a lot more during New York, Paris and Milan’s Fashion Weeks. Kendall has shot campaigns for Fendi, Estee Lauder, Calvin Klein, and Marc Jacobs among several others. She and her younger sister, Kylie Jenner, co-published a book called Rebels: City Of Indra in 2014, and have a clothing line with PacSun, as well as a forthcoming partnership with TopShop.
At such a young age, Kendall has achieved what others take a lifetime to do as she has a major advantage of belonging to a blended family of super stars who are always in the limelight. Being the oldest daughter of Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner and his wife Kris, having three half-sisters, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian, and an older half-brother, Rob, through her mother, and three older half-brothers, Burton Jenner, Brandon Jenner and The Hills star Brody Jenner, through her father, and a younger sister, Kylie Jenner, she sure has got her hands full! Just recently, her father came out as a trans woman and changed his name to Caitlyn, which brought the entire family under the spotlight again.
Coming towards her style statement, we think it’s safe to say that she has proven herself as a true supermodel. She hasn’t only rocked the runway world but her street style has won the hearts of millions. She’s the kind to make rugged sweats look like the chicest outfit ever, can make a dull outfit seem fresh and can even work a ball skirt effortlessly on the streets. More and more girls consider Kendall a new street-style inspiration and everybody knows why! Her street-vibe is very diverse but always precise. The girl knows how to combine daring pieces with more casual clothes and look simple, classy, hot and appealing all at the same time.
Being in the lime-light 24/7, it is a given that she’d receive some criticism too. Kendall Jenner has everyone talking about her new Fendi campaign – but not all of it is good. This American beauty met with a number of negative remarks after posting pictures from Fendi’s fall-winter 2015 campaign on Instagram. The pictures, which were shared with her 31.3 million followers, feature her taking part in two different photo-shoots by Karl Lagerfeld.
In one shoot the reality star is posing beside a huge puppet, while on the other she’s clutching onto a pink Fendi bag. Experts claimed on The Fashion Spot that Jenner has failed to pose as a fashion model and instead “just stands there” while others said “she is not a model and Fendi deserves a better model for their campaign”. She did manage to shake off some of this criticism when she wore a light blue, form fitting strapless dress with white and gold embellishments running down the front, on the launch of the new Fendi by Karl Lagerfeld. The actress looked fresh and gave a summer vibe doing justice to the dress!
Just recently, Jenner was hand-picked by Karl Lagerfeld as a show stopper model bride at the Atelier Versace Show on Sunday. With a rare smile and a short edgy wig instead of her usual rave colored locks, she walked down the runway effortlessly, turning every head in her direction. She flaunted her figure in a fitted white suit; a double breasted blazer with shoulder padding and slightly flared pants. The double-breasted style has been eternalized by Chanel, so it won’t be going out of date anytime soon. Ladies, get your hands on this evergreen masterpiece as soon as possible to give off that “strong independent woman” look which everyone wants!
