Mahira Khan has definitely had a busy year full of work and surprises for us. The Humsafar actress had two film releases ( Superstar and Parey Hut Love) this year both met with applause and positive reviews.
But it looks her winning streak isn’t over yet. Great news!
Mahira Khan is all set to represent Pakistan and host the L’Oreal Paris Week, and it’s happening right now.
Last year Mahira Khan was the first Pakistani actress to represent the leading cosmetic brand last year at the Cannes film festival, and now she’s leading the show again and being the best it girl she always has been.
It’s practically one of the biggest events regarding fashion, which we love. Pakistan is busy with the L’Oreal Paris Bridal Fashion Week as we speak, and we where ever we go we have the most to offer when it comes to fashion.
Junaid Murtaza, who is the Managing Director of L’Oréal Pakistan has said, “The L’Oréal Group always celebrates diversity and empowerment through beauty and believes strongly in paving the way for Pakistan to have access to platforms which we previously never did! We are thrilled for L’Oréal Pakistan’s first entry into Paris Fashion Week, the world’s biggest fashion platform in 2019 and Mahira Khan, our local spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris is the perfect embodiment of beauty, creativity, fashion and diversity. We look forward to share what promises to be a thrilling experience with everyone in the country come September 2019.”
The brand picks a person to host the event every year from all over the world. And this is what Mahira Khan had to say about her being picked for the job.
“Representing the brand and the country at Cannes Film Festival last year was an incredible experience and continuing the same representation at Paris Fashion Week couldn’t be more exciting – it is after all THE fashion week to be a part of and I’m delighted for the opportunity to represent Pakistan at the world’s most coveted event, where beauty meets fashion – We are all worth it!”
So what will Mahira be up to?
Some notable events from her itinerary apart from the fashion week itself comprise of the “Unlock Paris Tour” in which she will be visiting some intriguing spots of the city, as well as a Karl Lagerfeld workshop
which will also showcase Lagerfeld’s much anticipated collaboration with L’Oréal Paris on a “rock-chic” make-up collection. Mahira will be in Paris for four days, during which she will also be meeting with L’Oréal Paris global spokespeople, besides her engagements with noteworthy fashion designers.
