As we get older our problems tend to wear themselves on our face. With the rise in air and environmental pollution our health and bodies are exposed to toxins which age us before our time and leave us feeling and looking sick.
But with a little care to our well-being, happiness and appearance, we can both feel and look better.
Take care of yourself Overall
Your face and skin doesn’t exist on it’s own, it’s a reflection of how your inner functions are going on. So whenever people get pimples or their color gets dull, they need to look at what they are eating or if they are getting enough rest.
So to be in good health, you need to make sure you have a balanced diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Try not to take too much junk food, or anything with excessive salt and sugar.
Get the proper amount of sleep that your body needs. A lack of sleep prevents the brain from working to it’s best capability and adds on the feelings of stress and discomfort, all of which will affect your health and youthful appearance.
So please don’t get in the way of a good nights rest. And try sleeping in darkness, with no bright lights or noise.
Have an exercise or yoga routine that works for your schedule. Any half hour workout that includes stretches and a little is going to do wonders for your health and loveliness overall. You can try going on a brisk walk, a full body yoga routine or a fun dance routine.
All of these things should be a part of your life, because they are going to sustain your health, both physically and mentally. If you don’t do this already, you might see the change in days, but long-term your body will be thankful that you made the investment.
Now on to the routine.
Exfoliate
Look for a nice exfoliater from the store, a liquid or paper, based on what doesn’t irritate you.
Generally a mild one is best, and you should exfoliate the skin once after every three days. Do this after you come from all the sun and pollution to wash away, not before you leave in the morning.
And don’t be aggressive with your skin while exfoliating, be gentle.
Moisturize Generously
Make sure that you a good one. When your face is still a little damp work in that moisturizer.
Make sure to provide your neck, chest, shoulders and hands with the same attention as your face.
A good time is start with this is your mid or early twenties.
Face Masks
Once in a while before you go to bed, you can apply a face mask or a mud mask. A moisturizing is good.
Not something you need to do everyday, and you don’t have to buy one from the store. A little egg white, yogurt and turmeric mixture will have you feeling shiny.
Drink a Glass of Warm Water
It is of course important to remain hydrated throughout the day, but try to drink a glass of warm or lukewarm water before you go to sleep.
Serums and a Face Massage
If you have an anti-aging serum, work that around your eye area, mouth and neck. If that is too expensive gently massage a little coconut or olive oil into the skin.
And learn to give your self a face massage to open up all those muscles and let the stiffness out. Like you can run your fingers in opposite directions on your forehead to prevent fine lines.
Have a Clean Sleeping Station and Sleep Well
Make sure that your bed and pillow case is clean. A silk pillow case is good for both your hair and skin.
Try not to sleep with your face rubbing against any harsh fabric or anything dusty or not clean.
Make sure that you get a good amount of sleep. Were saying this repeatedly because it’s really important for your health and beauty. Don’t stay glued to your cell phones all night.
We hope you found this helpful.
