Juggun Kazim is a Pakistani-Canadian model, actress and TV personality. She has had an active career for most of her life, starting out a model in her teens, being the mysterious beauty in the ‘Sajni’ video, to now having her own show on Channel 24. She has perhaps had the ideal run for performing good business, as now she has to add to her belt a restaurant, fitness studio and a salon.
She is a woman in the spotlight, a woman of business and despite the problems that came her way, she became a lifestyle personality. Truly, she is someone to look at and say ‘ She made it’. (MashaAllah)
But what is to be marveled about her? What must we learn from her and about her career?
Consistency:
To have a legacy or decent career it is important to maintain a level of quality in ones work, and for that consistency is extremely important. Juggun has been from a young age doing something or the other which allowed her to shine. Plenty of actors, writers, models and singers are talented, but the only ones who get to be successful are those who take talent seriously and use it to the fullest.
Likability:
It the media world and in the business world it is important to be someone who is approachable and not a diva (not in the negative sense). And women in general are expected to be agreeable and not to cause too many problems. This has to be like a mask, you have to know how to conduct yourself for every situation.
Balance:
We sadly have many examples of celebrities being overtaken by their work. Work may get in the way of their health and time with their family. It is of course important to do what one loves, but that work can only be enjoyed when is able to balance it. Juggun Kazim has always made mention of how it is important for her to spend and give time to her husband and sons. She makes time for both her career and her family in a way that is easy for her. All with a smile upon her face.
Fall down then Get up:
Juggun Kazim has had her fair share of setbacks, as no one’s life is perfect or simple, but the important thing is to work against that and overcome the obstacles that come your way. It is important to know ones worth and understand that they deserve something better, something that lines well with their goals and spirit.
Expand and Conquer:
As the lifestyle guru that Juggun Kazim has become she not only has a long career as a model and actress, she has also opened a Magnifique Salon & Spa, Fit Culture Fitness Studio and a Shiitake Restaurant in Lahore. That is what we call making a boss lady move and creating jobs for other people, and a lifelong investment. Juggun is also someone who got famous from traditional media, which is television, but now she also has her own YouTube channel with over 360,000 subscribers and millions of views on certain videos, which allows her to reach a younger audience and connect better with her fans. All that’s left is a perfume deal or a makeup line, and will probably show up down the road.
We have learned a lot from Juggun Kazim, she has gone after her dreams and done well for herself, and made some effective business moves, which gave her career longevity. We hope the best for her in the future!
