Different Meat Dishes to Try this Barka Eid

Different Meat Dishes to Try this Barka Eid

Eid is just around the corner, which meas you will probably be eating a lot of protein for the next three months. The religious holiday is for us to learn about sacrifice and charity, so make sure you do that.

On Bakra  Eid we also have an influx of goat selfies, and BBQs and we repeat a lot of meat.

So if you get tired of the Quormas, Beef Biryanis, Tikkas, BBQs and Paye by the third week, we have some meat based dishes from around that you make for yourself and all the guests.

Spaghetti and Meatballs

This is an Italian and American classic dish, and also some good comfort food. You’ll probably have a lot of ground beef or mutton laying around, so all you’ll have to do is roll them into some cute, tasty, herb infused balls and cook them them. Along with boiled spaghetti noodles and tomato sauce.

Based on the recipe you find for this it will have a more simple and ‘herby’ taste palette, then are usual loved masalas.

Beef Stew

Alot like a regular meaty’ salan’ we normally eat, Beef Stew is something that the English love to eat on a  chilly day. This is generally made on low heat for a good amount of time.

And you can toss in anything you like potatoes, peas, tomatoes and serve it with rice. It basically ‘salan’ for English people, minus the Roti.

Meat Loaf

This is a meat dish with variations all over the world. It’s a filling and good for any meat lover, because that’s all that this is.

It’s basically ground meat mixed with onions, herbs and spices, shaped into to bread and baked. Since it’s baked it’s healthier. But since it’s a little dry you’ll have to make a gravy or sauce to go along with it.

Peremech

Have you ever wondered how you could eat your kabab and naan without having to roll up every little bite? Ever wanted to not get messy hands while biting through gravy?

Even if you haven’t this Russian snack has a unique spin on meat doughnuts or meat cupcakes.  Cook up whatever meat you have in the fridge, and then bake it into some dough but don’t make the whole too deep.

It would make a nice addition to your dinner table.

Enchiladas

Probably the most Pakistani style foreign dish we have on our list. An Enchilada is a Mexican dish with a lot of spices and flavors that we love. You’ll probably have to look around for a corn tortilla, but a naan might be a good substitute.

This is going a spicy, meaty cheesy delight and all the kids will love. No. Everyone will love.

Remember all these dishes have a lot of variations and no strict rules. You can look around for recipes and tutorials that suite your taste buds and health concerns.

We hope you found this list interesting and that you have a fun time with your family.
