What if Charlie Chaplin came to Lahore and immersed himself in its surroundings and ambiance? Actor Mohsin Abbas Haider transforms into a perfectly convincing Charlie Chaplin for this creative shoot by Mohsin Khawar Photography, based on the famous poster of Charlie and the kid from Charlie’s 1921 film ‘The Kid’.
Redone in a magical way which also highlights the unique culture and architecture of the city, the photoshoot shows Charlie and the kid roaming the streets of Old Lahore/ the Walled City, with a playful interaction between the two. Charlie wearing his signature trademark clothing in certain shots and drinking lassi (very representative of local food culture) is seen wearing a floral/ colorful vest in other shots, to depict the vibrant culture of Lahore. Dramatic lighting in the photoshoot successfully shows drama created by the use of light and shade.
