The Pakistan Fashion Design Council in collaboration with L’Oréal Paris, the world’s leading beauty brand, presented PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week [#PLBW18] which officially commenced on 4th September 2018, marking the eighth consecutive year of the bridal couture platform.
The finale of Day-1 was presented by a solo show featuring Ali Xeeshan Theater Studio who showcased his bridal collection titled ‘Ijaazat’ at PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week 2018. The collection paid homage to the skilled craftsmanship of our culture with blends of uber chic design details using unconventional materials. Hues of red were a major part of the color palette for the collection.
Each piece was amped with handmade textures and uncut jewel pieces on rich fabrics such as silk, velver and brocade. The collection uses a fusion of east, west and everything running within digital age.
“The collection is especially close to my heart because it aims to tackle a contemporary problem faced by many people these days,” stated Ali Xeeshan.
