Eat Festival returns to Lahore!

Following up with the successful series of events in Karachi (Karachi Eat 2014/Karachi Eat 2015, Karachi Eat 2016/ Karachi Eat 2017, Karachi Eat 2018), Lahore and Islamabad Eat Food Festivals in 2016 and 2017,Pakistan’s favourite food platform ‘EAT’ returns to Lahore from 16th to 18th March 2018 at Fortress Stadium Lahore Cantt.

The brain child of CKO Event Architecture, now in its fifth year running this annual event has become the largest food Festival in the country and draws in a crowd of over 300,000 people in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad respectively. Eat festivals focus on details which no other festival would consider. The purpose behind it is of course to create an experience which is as inclusive as possible whilst maintaining the original concept.

Consisting of 80 Kiosks representing different kinds of cuisines from around the world which include Mr Waffels, Noodle Woodle, G.Y.M, Karamel Cookies, Arabi’s, The Bawarchi & Aussie Grill just to name a few. Lahore Eat 2018 will also include performances by Pakistan’s leading talents such as Akhtar Chanal, Ali Azmat, Asim Azhar, Aura, Fuzion and Asrar.

Indeed, the EAT is an annual food festival built around the idea of creating a common platform in a Public Space for people who love food. From the most creative and talented chefs to the street vendors, the EAT is a festival which celebrates the full diversity of food that the cities has to offer.

On the festivals return to Lahore Aslam Khan & Omar Omari of CKO Event Architecture have said: “We are overjoyed to be returning to Lahore; the nation’s food capital. This year the Lahore Eat is looking forward to host a much larger audience as 80 of the cities top restaurants, eateries and home based food enthusiasts have been handpicked to take Centre stage.”
