‘Hira Ali Studios’ showcased the Luxury Prét collection “Woman Is Future” at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2018 on Day 1. The collection was a celebration of strong confident women who carve their own paths and in spite of the challenges and hurdles, they face every day. The embroidery comprised of experimental techniques using crystals and nets as well as silk threads and various beads and crystals. The collection showcased ensembles with contemporary silhouettes with embellished skirts, pants, dresses, statement sleeved shirts accessorized with clutches. The color palette featured blues, whites, reds and beige.
She also declared forming a ‘Women in Fashion’ collective that will work towards raising awareness on various issues women face in our society including the wage gap for domestic and factory workers.
