The ARY Digital drama Teri Raza set off last week, and there are great expectations associated to it, considering its production scale and a superb cast. Teri Raza has gained great hype due to the fact that Sanam Baloch is making a comeback on the television screen after a very long time. Sanam Baloch undoubtedly is one of the brilliant and versatile actresses of the Pakistan drama industry, who received enormous fame because of her exceptional performance in drama ‘Dastaan‘ and telefim ‘Ek Thi Marium.‘
Teri Raza’s story revolves around Suhana (played by Sanam Baloch), who is a cheerful and full of life girl. She belongs to a family that apparently looks modern but, does not do anything without ‘Isthikhara.‘ The Dadi in their family has strong faith on Isthikhara, and does not permit her son (Suhana’s father and played by Tanveer Jamal) for anything until she is sure about it.
Meanwhile, Suhana is in love with Rameez (played by Shehroz Sabzwari), who studies along with her in the university. Rameez is shown having a flirtatious nature but, holds a special place for Suhana in his heart. However, the entrance of Imtiaz (played by Sarmad Khoosat) is where the twists and turns will come in this play. He is shown much older than Suhana as he has come back from abroad after staying for so long, and his mother now is in hunt for a girl for him.
Teri Raza surely has a breathtaking cast, which includes Sanam Baloch, Shehroz Sabzwari, Sarmad Khoosat, Ayesha Khan Senior, Tanveer Jamal, Shaheen Khan, Saifi Hassan, Tara Mehmood, Sohai Ali Abro and others. Teri Raza is penned down by Naila Ansari and Directed by Aabis Raza. The play is produced by Big Bang Entertainment, who is doing an excellent job in topic selection and execution of their plays. In the end, the DOP (Director of Photography) of this play Asad Mumtaz Malik deserves a huge round of applause for beautifully capturing every shot, and making this drama a visual treat.
