Money can’t buy you happiness, but it sure can make you better looking. You only have to Google ‘Urwa/Mawra Hocane old pictures’ to see what a huge fashion disaster they were back in the day, and now they’re chic divas. I mean, their chichoray antics undo all their chic divaness, but at least they look classier than they used to.
I think we can all admit that fashion trends for the average Jane/Joe in the early 2000s seem like a disaster compared to trends now. Even kids nowadays look so much better than I did back when I was younger, let alone celebrities. In Mawra and Urwa’s case, contouring, couture outfits, and on trend haircuts along with an efficient PR team has turned their look around, in a good way. They’ve come a long way from wearing weird, sleeveless lawn k suits and neon T shirts with badly done makeup to modelling for brands like ONE, Metro Shoes and Sunsilk.
But GAWD, they used to look like something else entirely with their bad dye job, weird pouts, digital camera mirror selfies. But in all honesty, anyone under the age of 25 has been guilty of that, I know I was, minus the godawful hair dye. Their glow up is so real, it’s insane, but it’s good that they’re working towards self improvement.
