The struggle of finding the perfect Bra in Pakistan!

If you’re a girl, you know the struggle of finding a bra is very, very real. It can be ridiculously hard finding a well fitting bra that won’t leave your decolletage looking like a ‘biryani ka lifafa’ or a stack of disfigured pancakes. You get the gist. Here’s some bras that you’ll have the misfortune of finding in Pakistan.

The pointy AKA Lara Croft bra

This bra will make your sisters look like they’re the ends of a missile. For those of you who’ve played Tomb Raider on Playstation, you’ll know what I’m talking about.

The ‘kapray wali’ bra

This bra is made of very stretchy cloth with absolutely no underwire for support. Every time you wear it, it’s like a Kinder egg, you’ll never guess what your chest will look like today. It also constricts your fat in all the wrong places and increases the appearance of back fat rolls.

The ridiculously padded bra

These usually come in clashing, neon colors or weird powdery pastels with tacky prints. They’re very, very padded for those of us who aren’t as…well endowed as a lot of other women. The only downside is, they make your chest look disproportionately big in comparison to the rest of your body.

The ‘imported’ Marks and Spencer bra that costs an arm and a leg

These are usually available at bigger stores, and they cost 3 times as much as their original price. They are really, really good…to look at. They are priced between 5000-14000, when in reality it probably cost these bigwigs a fraction of the cost, especially since they usually hoard them during sales. So conspiracy, much wow. Keep on walking, girlies.

A bra that actually fits you

This is the bra that dreams are made of. It’s like a good friend, it gives you support and uplifts you. Oh, and it makes you look good. *wink wink* This bra won’t put a dent in your wallet and will make your chest look the way it should, as opposed to the end of a cone. According to research, most women wear the wrong sized bra. The best part is that you can actually go to a store and get yourself sized to avoid unnecessary sagginess and bruising caused by ill fitting bras that make you feel like you’re in a sarcophagus.

Unfortunately, i’m still waiting for the day to find a perfect one; so good luck to you too!
