From the runway to the side walk, day one of the fashion week is much anticipated by the fashion Industry. Since the start of the event has to be splendour. The opening of the PFDC Loreal Paris Bridal Week was done by HSY known to be the king of the fashion industry. This time around the F/W couture collection is called ‘The kingdom’. Well the kingdom surrounds the different stages of Woman’s life where subtle beauty meets fashion, complementing the 4 stages with extravagant colour themes followed by delicate and intricate detailing.
At the PLBW16 the collection this time around for HSY was different than the usual expectations since it covered exceptional colour themes. The capsule collections consisted of covering the ‘Kalajar’ theme with heavy embellishments, tints and colour tones which were derived from a single shade along with head gears which consisted of pieces that covered the face reflecting the societal pressure for a woman. Followed by ‘Mahkar’ which means fragrance. The collection was based on printed fabrics to show the developing phase of a woman. For which from a basic shade of blue several colours were derived to show the blooming of a woman. The third stage ‘khat-e-sahil’ consisted of reddish brown tones along with jacquard woven in silk to depict the boldness of a woman. Coming down to the final stage ‘Sherastan’ displayed lavish and extravagant pieces that consisted of strong hues, bold ear and head pieces and intricate detailing to stand out.
The capsule collections were beautifully interpreted and the inspiration of a woman’s thought process into four different stages did speak out for itself. Along with to the end of it Hsy indeed did come up with a collection that stood out this around.
