A bun can always save your day when you have nothing else to fix your hair. Ever since Chanel’s show introduced the concept, the “Croissant Bun Updo” started popping up in news feeds and on social media platforms. Now the concept has become extremely popular not only amongst women from the fashion world, but also with the general public. This has to be the top trending hair updo for the year 2k16!!
Using the favourite dessert of the country as an inspiration for the show’s updos was a brilliantly mouth watering idea by Sam Mcknight.
As the hairstyle requires a lot of struggle and some extra stuff to add volume to it, you can recreate its simplest version at home with a very easy tutorial.
- Tie your hair in a low pony tail.
- Roll up the ends.
- Pin them into a bun.
- Finally, puff it up to create a half-moon/ croissant like shape.
- Use your hair setting spray to let the bun remain in place.
This method requires very little effort but it gives a very well-polished look.
