We live in a world full of fashionistas. Each soul is in tough competition with the others regarding how they dress up. The collections we are treated to every season change with the trends.
Fur has served people on runways since ages. The term “fur” basically indicates a fur coat, fur-coated shoes, fur wraps and even fur-cape shawls. After leather, fur has proven to be the second most demanding stuff for fall collections.
So many designers these days have flooded the runways with fur. Brands like Giorgio Armani and Michael Kors have won the legal battle against the animal rights lobbyists. A lot of people around the world are showing keen interest in buying items made out of fur and flaunting them in their own unique way which is why designers like Fendi are thriving.
Fur has always been in the lime light for fall collections and with time this craze has grown more than ever before. It has been the most appealing thing fashionistas tend to wear and introduce to the public.
Over two decades ago, 73% of the 436 shows held in several different countries that year featured fur, although it was newly introduced to the fashion world through the fur industry where fur was obtained from Foxes, Minks, Huskies etc.
Once the fall season starts, every fur station launches their own fur collection. It can be used in boots, shawls or long coats.
A very famous photographer once said, “I always love to look for things which are traditional and classic, and then re-imagine them through my lens, for my generation”.
With the latest modification and customization techniques used by fur industries today, fur can now be used in any season, consumed in different ways and dyed.
The Paris Couture Fashion Week of 2015 also serves as a good example, where everything reflecting the fashion trends of the 80’s was a hit. This winter season is solely dedicated to Mink fur, and is known as the Mink season. So go get your hands on those chic fur jackets before everybody else and stay in sync with the latest trends.
