Who doesn’t love instant noodles? Ummm, no one! Maggie, Knorr or Indomie. They are easy to make and always taste great, whichever brand you love. They just never let us down. But there is so much more you can do with instant noodles than just following the directions mentioned on the packet.
Personalize your noodles just the way you like. Here are a few ways you can make them even more appealing.
Super spicy noodles:
For this one, the prerequisite is to buy a spicy or ‘chatpatta’ flavor of noodles. The trick for super spiciness is, add two packets of flavor and use half a glass of water. They will be less soupier and a lot more spicier.
Soupy instant noodles:
Take some finely cut carrots, onions and celery. Fry them in a tablespoon of butter or oil, add in boneless chicken cubes and fry them till they are golden. Take some chicken stock and add in the fried ingredients and your packet of noodles along with the flavor sachet.
Fried instant noodles:
Cook your noodles in the conventional way. Make sure you dry the water. Once they are cooked, take an oil filled frying pan and add spoonfuls of the cooked noodles. You will end up with crispy fried noodles!
Noodle cutlets:
Boil one packet of your desired instant noodles in a saucepan along with its flavor. Once it is cooked, let it cool down on a flat plate. Finely chop a carrot, a cabbage and an onion. Combine the chopped ingredients with the cooked noodles and add some crushed pepper for extra tanginess. Mix the ingredients into one mixture with nice consistency and texture. Form small cutlets out of the mixture using your hands and lastly, shallow fry in a pan. You have successfully made noodle cutlets.
Malayisan Goreng:
If you have ever traveled to Malaysia, you will know about this famous dish. It is cooked using the brand Maggie. Stir fry some chilly, onions, vegetable greens and an egg. Make sure your egg is well scrambled whilst frying the vegetables. Add pre cooked strained Maggie and mix into the fried combination.
