FPW’15 – DAY 2

The red carpet on day two was hosted by the very talented Ayesha Toor, who wore Deepak Perwani’s creation from the same collection he had to showcase. Day two featured all the big names from the FP council, like Wardha Saleem, the CEO of the council, Obaid Sheikh and Maheen Karim. Team Kluchit was very excited about Elan’s collection.

Wardha Saleem’s collection ‘Zar Gul’ was a very good display of art. We loved the choreography and the celebrity appearances. Zeb Bangash from Zeb and Haniya performed live during the show and added an extra dimension to the entire event. The show stoppers Maya Ali and Osman Khalid Butt looked perfect. Wardha’s bridal collection had bright color palettes and rich fabrics like velvets and jamawars.

Maheen Karim’s show was next which was beautifully opened by three girls in black. The collection was entitled ‘Tempo di Festa’ and it made a big impact. It was very glamorous yet classy. Team Kluchit loved the flared skirts with beautiful prints.

Before the break was Obaid Sheikh’s collection which took inspiration from Russian embroidery with his signature rich color palettes and luxurious fabrics like velvet and pure Charmeuse silk. Zordozi, Resham and Ari embellishments were seen all over the collection.

We were anxiously waiting for the break to end because it was Elan’s turn and as always, their collection was a game changer. We loved the use of black and colored embellishments which were inspired by forests. Read more about the Elan collection by clicking the link below

Next up was Nida Azwer, and her collection was simply amazing. It was a beautiful display of art, fashion and elegance, and was entitled the “Mystical Garden”. Motifs like dragon flies, birds and bees added a little funk to the elegance. With the clever use of pastels and her signature French lace, she kept her signature style intact. Nets, silks and chiffons made the collection look delicate and edgy. We loved how she used 3-D embroidery.

Huma Adnan’s brand FNKASIA was next and her collection was entitled ‘from Tuscany with Love’. As always, she used her in-house accessories in her collection.

Day 2 ended with Deepak Perwani’s beautiful fall collection. ‘The La Vie en Rose’ was inspired by the grandeur of Baroque Winter Roses. The collection had an eastern/western blend. Skirts with modern twists were showcased and Team Kluchit loved the use of veils and floral head gear.
