Demi Lovato’s life has been a complete roller coaster ride. From the worldwide fame that Camp Rock brought to her, to the phase of lapsing into an eating disorder and being admitted into rehab, she has constantly gone through ups and downs. Demi came back in an attempt to heal herself and get her life back on track.
She has been experimenting with her look for the past few years with an array of different hair colors and hairstyles, multiple wardrobe changes and even by appearing on multiple platforms. Now, Demi seems to finally be comfortable in her own skin.
As of late she has been preaching how to love your body and size, she has promoted her own cosmetic line and she is showing that her own body is what she loves. Her latest and fifth studio album “Confident” seems to sum up all that Demi has achieved. She made a statement with a nude, un-retouched photoshoot. Demi said in an interview that a year ago she would not have even considered doing both those things. She has however come a long way from that. She says that she is confident about her body and herself the way she never was before. She isn’t afraid to push her boundaries and do things that she felt she could not have done.
Another big thing is that she signed a contract with the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency which is something she is very excited about. She is also excited to see where their work together will go creatively as she enters the next phase of her career and continues to develop as an artist. Alex Vaickus, the CEO of Wilhelmina Models also commented on the new deal. She said that they are thrilled to represent such a sophisticated, confident and talented woman. She has proved that she is an accomplished singer and actress, and we look forward to seeing her success within the modeling realm.
