Wanna look good without having to spend lots of cash on make-up? Then check out some of these cool beauty products from Rimmel cosmetics. You’ll look great without spending a ton!
It’s easy to see why people are so crazy about Rimmel cosmetics. Rimmel beauty products won’t empty your wallet even though they are high quality products. Rimmel offers a wide range of products for eyes, lips, skin and nails. It’s no wonder they’ve been around for decades. Like a killer scarf or a one-of-a-kind necklace, Rimmel’s matte can prove to be a key accessory for you. Whether you get your nails done at a beauty salon or DIY, the key to the ideal mani/pedi is great nail polish. And there is really nothing like the feeling of freshly lacquered nails.
Whenever I think of a nice manicure, my mind immediately jumps to well-maintained, shiny nails. After all, isn’t that why we all use top coats? But even though I absolutely love that look, sometimes I just need something different. Something edgier or darker. On the complete other side of the spectrum is matte nail polish. Exactly what it sounds like, matte finish means a polish which is completely devoid of shine. Matte nails have been trendy for several seasons now, ever since king of cool Alexander Wang sent matte nails down his Fall’2010 runway. The trend has been everywhere, including the runways at DKNY, L.A.M.B., and Catherine Malandrino.
When being used for strengthening, you must of course start out with clean dry nails. Two coats are required to start, and then every other day another coat is applied. At the end of the week you remove the nail matte and start over with the same routine.
One thing to note is that although it says “matte”, and it is certainly a lot less shiny than your normal nail polish, it is not entirely devoid of shine. It doesn’t look very obvious that you have applied a product on your nails; rather it looks like you’ve taken very good care of your nails. The level of shine is similar to what you’d get from a very thorough buffing (buffing is sanding your nails with a very fine grain so that they look smooth and slightly shiny. I cannot think of any negatives about this product.
It dries quickly, looks natural and is totally inexpensive. It has completely mitigated issues with my nails that just two months ago forced me to keep my hands hidden. As a nail strengthener, this is a superb product and I rate the item 10 out of 10. It leaves a natural look on your nails without any gloss at all.

Brand Overview
Rimmel At-A-Glance
Strengths: Inexpensively priced; a great pushed bronzing powder; several remarkable mascaras; an anthology of praiseworthy lip blush products including sheen and lipstick; a few remarkable foundations.
Weaknesses: Not the most user-friendly covering; lackluster skincare-esque products; some gimmicky makeup items that rotate out to be duds.
While not all of Rimmel’s products are an utter hit, there are some individual standout items that can compete with the best of what’s out there – at rock bottom prices. A diminutive integer of their lip color products warrant special assert for their graceful consistency and fashion-forward colors.
Where Rimmel falls into hit-or-miss territory is with its excessive collection of matte’s (it seems as though they launch a new one every month) which makes it confusing to try to figure out which one is the best. Some are remarkable and extremely worth buying, while others can be classified as gimmicky duds.
