What THE BODY SHOP says about it:
A must for the medicine cabinet. Pre-blended oil which can be used in several different ways to help soothe blemished skin. Dab directly onto the skin at the first sign of a blemish.
Ingredients: Water, Alcohol Denat., PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Polysorbate 20, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Limonene, t-Butyl Alcohol, Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil, Citral, Leptospermum Petersonii (Lemon Tea Tree) Oil, Denatonium Benzoate, Tocopherol.
Tea tree oil from Body shop is a magic wand for all those people that have an acne prone skin. It visibly reduces the acne within just a few days of use. Tea tree oil itself is very strong to be applied directly on the skin but since its just 15% of the oil, it is very much safe to apply it directly on to the pimples.
All you have to do is to take just one drop of the oil and apply it directly on to the acne overnight and let it do the work. Apply this oil on an emerging pimple and it will just shrink, right in front of your eyes. It has a cooling, almost icy feeling which soothes spots and reduces the redness. This oil does not feel sticky and it won’t dry your skin out, like most blemish fighting products do.
Just a few cons which are observed regarding this product are that it would have been more convenient if it came with a pump. It is only 10ml and even though it lasts a long time, the quantity is a little less for that price. Some people have reported that it stings a little after they apply this product.
VERDICT:
Do give this product a try as it does wonders for the acne and makes the skin look visibly healthier. This might turn out to be the Holy Grail product for your acne treatment and it might just be your savior.
