For a chocolate lover, nothing could be better than a warm cake with a thick gooey chocolaty center. The Molten Lava Chocolate Cake is the most popular chocolate dessert globally, and it has its own cult following. It does not even matter now whether it was the French chef and chocolatier Jacques Torres, or Jean-Georges Vongerichten from New York, US who invented this cake by mistake. It is quite painstaking for culinary experts to select the best chocolate for their molten lava cake but the chocolate is just one element amongst several other ingredients, not to mention the cautious cooking procedure. And when it comes to serving this delicacy to Lahori foodies, it needs to be more than just a chocolate masterpiece on a plain white plate. We asked chocolate lovers where to find the most unique and exquisite-tasting molten lava cake and we got 3 of the most popular names in Lahore: Café Tiramisu, Arcadian Café and English Tea House.
We asked Lahoris to vote to crown the Best Molten Lava Cake 2015 in Lahore. The people of the city casted their votes online to show their love for the one they favored. So before we announce the winner, we would like you to take a look at what these places had to offer.
Café Tiramisu: Tiramisu has to be credited for introducing the molten lava cake to Lahoris. It has been synonymous to this dessert for a little less than a decade. The plate itself seemed like a masterpiece done by an artist. The artistically presented cake, along with the ice cream was a flavorful experience in every bite. The firm cake on the outside was split well and the dense chocolate liquid flowed nicely. It was an excellent mix of flavors and temperature.
Arcadian Café: The exciting aura of the restaurant was perfect for excellent dessert. The anticipation of smooth silky chocolaty bites escalated when the dessert was presented on the table. The presentation of the dessert was immaculate, with the addition of red color in the form of candied fruit and green mint leaves. The cake was laid nicely on the side of the ice cream, resting on top of the chocolate tablet. The center of the cake was somewhat gooey but the combined texture of the cake and the center was very exciting. The balance of bitterness and sweetness was immaculate.
English Tea House: Since ETH entered the market, the number of their loyal customers kept rising every day. They made their mark not only because of their scrumptious menu but also with their ambiance. The cake was placed in the center of a chocolate syrup ring while the ice cream had a crown of golden sugary fibers. The overall presentation had a grandeur impression, which suggested that the taste would be somewhat the same. And truly, the cake was nothing less than what is served to royals.
